4ft & 6ft Standard Tripods


The 4' and 6' Standard Tripods

ALL STANDARD TRIPODS SOLD INCLUDE A SINGLE TOP FITTED AS STANDARD.
THEY ARE IDEAL FOR BOTH SALT AND FRESH WATER FISHING

Standard does not mean that we use less than exceptional materials, components or manufacturing techniques. All we have done is simplify the
design and manufactured the tripods to the same high standard as all other products within our range.

The Standard tripod was designed for the fisherman that does not have the opportunity to fish on a regular basis. A few days while on holiday with his family,
the odd occasion on a day out at the coast with friends. This does not warrant the financial outlay of a match tripod for this sparse usage.

THE FOLLOWING TWO PARAGRAPH’S ARE APPLICABLE TO BOTH THE STANDARD AND TELESCOPIC TRIPODS

The tripods are fitted with a single top rest that should suffice most requirements. If you wish to fit alternative accessories the thread is a 3/8” BSF,
this is standard to all fishing equipment allowing any combination of tops to be used.

The all metallic construction giving maximum rigidity. The pivot pins are supported at both ends, saddle washers are fitted both sides of each leg eliminating
any unnecessary movement. The pivot pins are riveted in place. The hinge assembly is riveted to the front leg using two stainless steel pop rivets.
No unnecessary nuts and screws.

Trace Bar

The Trace Bar has two functions, the obvious, to hang your trace’s on, the second function is to stabilize the tripod. As the hinge assembly is
rigid, to retain the front legs in a fixed position will stop the tripod from closing or opening further. You will see from the photo below, the clips
I use are marine components used on racing yachts, not the plumber’s pipe clips that most of my competitors use.
